the Community of Montessori Parents, at Spokane Public Montessori in the Spokane Public School District in Washington State. CoMP is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization responsibile for maintaining the authenticity of a Montessori AMI Program and gives support to classrooms in order to maintain good standing within Spokane Public Schools and the Association Montessori Internationale. CoMP is the parent–teacher group and is always looking for funds to improve the children's experience.
Spokane Public Montessori education is available because CoMP raises funds to maintain and grow our program. This year our fundraising need is $35,575 ($85, per student). Please support our students and families and help us avoid adding more fundraisers to the calendar by contributing to our annual campaign. Join the Friday Fun Club, and for $10 per early release day, your student will have the opportunity to stay at school until normal release times! Movies, games, and crafts are scheduled. Space is limited, so contact us today.
10/23 SPM Garden 3:15 Bring your gloves, tools, and laughter to help us celebrate the school garden! We are going to work on weeding the pathways, as well as helping teachers clear out beds if they are ready.
Tune to KYRS Thin Air Community Radio in Spokane for "Dragonflies on Thin Air”. This one hour radio show is produced by Spokane Public Montessori kids for kids in the community. The program includes fun entertainment with a mix of jokes, music, guests, stories, poetry, trivia and more.
