Our CoMP Meeting this month is one of the most important of the year. This is our annual General Membership meeting. Why does this matter? While members are encouraged to attend all CoMP meetings, at this meeting we will vote for our Board members for the 17-18 school year. Your vote counts toward the quorum (50%+1) needed to elect our Board.
This is also an opportunity to learn about what has been acCoMPlished this year by the Board and to share your views about priorities for next year's budget and calendar.
Refreshments provided. Childcare offered - $3/child or $10/4+ children in a family.
Your voice and your participation makes a BIG difference! Please plan to attend. Tuesday, April 18th from 6:30-8:00pm in the Library at SPM.
the Community of Montessori Parents, at Spokane Public Montessori in the Spokane Public School District in Washington State. CoMP is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization responsibile for maintaining the authenticity of a Montessori AMI Program and gives support to classrooms in order to maintain good standing within Spokane Public Schools and the Association Montessori Internationale. CoMP is the parent–teacher group and is always looking for funds to improve the children's experience.
Spokane Public Montessori education is available because CoMP raises funds to maintain and grow our program. This year our fundraising need is $35,575 ($85, per student). Please support our students and families and help us avoid adding more fundraisers to the calendar by contributing to our annual campaign.
